Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Hubbard County, Minnesota. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $4,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
