Vacancy available: tiling assistant (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Ida County, Iowa. On a typical shift you will apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; lay floor and wall tiles to plumb and level using a spirit level; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling. You should have: • Able to work to deadlines on busy sites • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
