The role involves: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
