Lift installation engineer — Pershing County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Pershing County, Nevada. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards Day-to-day duties: • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts • Mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
