Requirements: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways On a typical shift you will rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts.
