Rigger — Cameron County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigger in Cameron County, Texas. On the job you will handle: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 2+ years on the tools preferred.
