Semi-automatic welder — Young County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Young County, Texas. The role involves set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
