Foundry worker — Jessamine County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Jessamine County, Kentucky. The role involves cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
