Immediate opening: rebar worker (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar worker in Habersham County, Georgia. You will be based on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
