Pastry baker — Cumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pastry baker in Cumberland County, Tennessee. The role involves: • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
