Crawler crane operator — Blaine County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Blaine County, Idaho. You will be based on a bridge and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Full-time with occasional weekends.
