Lifting rigger — Buchanan County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Buchanan County, Virginia. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. On the job you will handle: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit You should have: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites 5+ years on the tools preferred.
