Now hiring: we are hiring a press shop operator in Umatilla County, Oregon. The role involves operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges 1+ years on the tools preferred.
