Stitching operator — Cumberland County

Join our team: we are hiring a stitching operator in Cumberland County, North Carolina. You will work on an export house sewing floor. You will clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines 6+ years on the tools preferred.
