Great opportunity: we are hiring a bricklayer in Lampasas County, Texas. You will work at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb Ideal candidate: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
