Cabinet maker — Franklin County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cabinet maker in Franklin County, Maine. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. You will cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Part-time with flexible hours.
