Join our team: we are hiring a rigger in Osceola County, Iowa. You will be based at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
