Immediate opening: elevator technician (Mississippi)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an elevator technician in Holmes County, Mississippi. You will work in a residential tower block. You will measure rope tension and check for broken strands; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; run load and overload tests with test weights; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours.
