Steel fixer — Wood County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel fixer in Wood County, West Virginia. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
