Gas pipe fitter — Northampton County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Northampton County, Pennsylvania. The job is on residential and apartment building sites. Your main tasks: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser You should have: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Driving licence for travel between sites • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations Full-time with occasional weekends.
