Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Chippewa County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
