Crane operator — Quay County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane operator in Quay County, New Mexico. You will be based in an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
