Offshore rigger — Butler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Butler County, Kansas. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
