Horticulturist — Henry County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a horticulturist in Henry County, Kentucky. The job is in a residential garden complex. Requirements: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Happy to work outdoors in all weather The role involves: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits.
