Maintenance painter — Appanoose County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a maintenance painter in Appanoose County, Iowa. The job is at a property maintenance company. What we are looking for: • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • 2+ years experience as a painter and decorator • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolding Your main tasks: • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Clean brushes, rollers and spray kit with thinners after each job • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers 1+ years on the tools preferred.
