Vacancy available: render and set plasterer (New York)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a render and set plasterer in Onondaga County, New York. You should have: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Day-to-day duties: • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
