Foundry worker wanted in Rockland County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Rockland County, New York. You should have: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Day to day you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
