Forklift operator — Steuben County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a forklift operator in Steuben County, Indiana. You will be based at a container loading yard. What we are looking for: • Valid forklift / FLT licence for counterbalance and reach trucks • Accurate, careful stock handling • Able to read pick lists and operate an RF scanner The role involves log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; charge the forklift battery or change the LPG cylinder safely; shrink-wrap and label palletised loads before dispatch; sweep and keep the loading bay free of debris. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends.
