Foundry labourer — Carroll County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Carroll County, Kentucky. On the job you will handle: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills 6+ years on the tools preferred.
