Immediate opening: lathe programmer-operator (Florida)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Brevard County, Florida. On the job you will handle: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish Requirements: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $17 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
