Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Jefferson County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Rotating shifts.
