Roofing technician — Northumberland

Vacancy available: we are hiring a roofing technician in Northumberland, England. You will be based at a sheet metal roofing workshop. The role involves: • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
