Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Daura, Katsina State. You will be based in a job-work machining unit. Requirements: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
