Foundry worker wanted in Daviess County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a foundry worker in Daviess County, Missouri. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Full-time, day shift.
