Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in Gilliam County, Oregon. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Day to day you will load and unload the deck oven with a peel; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $10,000 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
