Insulation worker — Washington County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an insulation worker in Washington County, Texas. You will be based at an industrial plant. What we are looking for: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Sharp eye for sealing joints and avoiding thermal bridges Day-to-day duties: • Torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Prep, clean and prime substrates before membrane application • Work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings • Fit mineral wool and glass wool batts between studs, joists and rafters On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
