Offshore rigger — Lincoln County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Lincoln County, Kentucky. You will be based at a shipyard. You should have: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
