Immediate opening: coating plant operator (Washington)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a coating plant operator in Skamania County, Washington. You will work in a busy paint shop. You should have: • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process The role involves: • Inspect the finish for runs, orange peel and bare patches • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness • Top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
