Now hiring: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Burleson County, Texas. The job is at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination On a typical shift you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
