Kitchen cook — Tarmua

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen cook in Tarmua, Yobe State. You will be based in a hospital or office canteen. The role involves follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes; knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; prepare the mise en place before each service; chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat. What we are looking for: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
