Heavy equipment operator — Greene County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Greene County, New York. Requirements: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves: • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
