Horticulturist — Merced County

You should have: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules On a typical shift you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
