Foundry labourer • Roseau County, Minnesota

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Roseau County, Minnesota. You will be based in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
