Argon welding operator wanted in Dooly County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Dooly County, Georgia. On a typical shift you will TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Meals and transport allowance provided.
