Rigger — New Castle County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rigger in New Castle County, Delaware. You will work at a container port. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting Full-time with occasional weekends.
