Precision welder — Hamilton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a precision welder in Hamilton County, Kansas. Day-to-day duties: • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
