Now hiring: we are hiring a long-haul driver in Fairfax County, Virginia. The job is in a refrigerated transport fleet. Day to day you will carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off; report defects and book the unit in for servicing; check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels; check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars.
