Immediate opening: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Marshall County, Alabama. You will work at a busy machine shop. The role involves top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles; write and edit G-code programs at the control; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; run first-off inspection and sign off the part. Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Rotating shifts.
