Rigging foreman wanted in Lea County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Lea County, New Mexico. You will work in a steel fabrication yard. The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear $120 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
