Great opportunity: press machine operator (England)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press machine operator in Southampton, England. The job is on the press shop floor. On the job you will handle: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling Ideal candidate: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg 3+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around £2,700 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
